Cam Brady called our weekly insurance pod cast this week and asked a very unique question “Would my insurance cover me for punching a baby in the face”.
The question is did Mr. Brady intentionally hit the baby in the face. If the answer is yes, our interpretation of most insurance polices EXCLUDE intentional acts. So, the answer to Mr. Brady’s question is NO, insurance generally does not respond nor provide coverage for punching a baby in the face. If Mr. Brady did NOT intentionally hit the baby in the face, coverage may respond, but the company would reserve their right to remove themselves from the case if it was deemed that Mr. Brady intentionally hit the baby in the face. Make sure you tune in next week where Candidate Marty Huggins asks something about a petting zoo.
